I have 5 accounts, all on Siege. Tonight I logged in with the first one - everything was fine.

I logged in with the second one - all of a sudden there were these two huge ball like things in the corners of my screen, and all of my macros were gone (and wouldn't you know it, this is the crafter account). It popped up with the screens that Pinco's pops up with the first time you log in - default character voice, yada yada. I closed it. Reopened it - same thing. I logged out.

I logged in with Account #3. It was fine! Same thing with Accounts 4 and 5.

Logged back in with Account #2 - still all messed up. I don't know what this theme or whatever is, but I hate it! And my missing macros!

Now, I know this might not be a Pinco's thing. I know I might need to rebuild my macros. But I still cannot figure out how to get the screen to look like it did before. I can't get rid of those hideous globe things (sorry, to me they are - I'm sure some love this theme).

Help???

your character profile is damaged, try to regenerate it.

How do I do that? Is it backed up someplace?

Okay, but there's nothing there. I downloaded the file, ran it, and there are no macros showing for my character - which tells me that the other screen, etc. info is also fried. I guess I can use this tool to get the desktop to look like I want (using a different character's profile). But it will do me no good whatsoever for the macros I've lost. *very very sad*

Okay. I just found a way to "fix" things. A while back I had copied this character over to the Test Shard. Except you can't really 'copy' characters to Test from Siege. But I had copied his info and pasted it into the folder for the Test Shard. Thank goodness!! So I copied that back. Only thing is that now, on Siege, he has the little Test Center 'shield' in the lower right hand corner, lol. I can live with that - at least he has his macros. Guess it's time to back up *all* my characters!

if it's empty is because the game have really fried the profile...
however, you can copy the data from the tc version in the same way and you will not have the tc tools
just delete the profile from siege, enter once (so you have an empty profile). Then run the program and copy the macros and settings and the profile is done

Thanks! I'll do that. And every other character is now backed up!
